Goa Records presents an innovative new EP titled Caves by Mana Shield. A producer of organic, melodic psytrance based on endless synth sequences and moody themes often based on guitar sounds.
Influenced by goa and drawing inspiration from film and video game soundtracks he combines atmospheric sound design with reflexive melodies to express his fascination with quite recently discovered psychedelic trance. Born in Wroclaw, Poland he started his musical journey by playing electric guitar before switching after a few years to production. His main influences at that time were British classic and progressive rock, soundtracks and house. Since discovering psytrance he has devoted himself to it almost completely, exploring its power and focus on melody in his Mana Shield project. ‘Caves’ is his second EP (after ‘Visions’ EP released on Ovnimoon Records) and it is focused on subtle mystical guitar themes combined with evolving synth sequences.
